I expect you to check PowerSchool at least once a week.
Culbreth students are graded on a ten-point scale.
If you are absent for a quiz/test, contact Magistra Meyer to arrange a time to make it up.
Culbreth Classicists may do corrections on quizzes and tests. Please see the attached file for instructions.
As Latin I and II (7th and 8th grade) are high school level courses, students are required to take a final exam/project worth 20% of their overall Latin grade.
If you are missing a set of warm-ups or earn less than 50% on them, you can write five complete sentences about what we've studied in class recently. You will earn 50% credit back on the assignment.
Missing work will be indicated in PowerSchool with an orange box.
Late work (for non-absence reasons) deducts 10% of the earned grade on that assignment.
Use of Google Translate on your Latin assignments is considered cheating. If you need an online Latin dictionary, use this one.
If you earn less than 70% on an Edpuzzle, I'll automatically reset it for you to have a second attempt. You can earn up to 70% on your second attempt.
I do not offer extra credit upon request.
