Mission Statement

A Mission Statement is a framework from which the Instrumental Music Program operates. As a teacher, I strive to ensure that everything that is done as a part of the instrumental music program at East Chapel Hill High School is done with this philosophy in mind.

MISSION STATEMENT

The East Chapel Hill High School Instrumental Music Program Shall:

1. Develop solid technique and skills essential for a truly aesthetic performance

2. Foster insight into the cognitive domain to create a performance with understanding

3. Instill a deep sense of pride which comes only from accomplishment through hard work and effort

4. Maintain a rich love and a life long appreciation for music which shall broaden the individual outlook
