Children's Global Peace Project at Oakhill Correctional Facility, Oregon, WI. See BLOG Post. Tajali and Donna are presenting CGPP, talking about creating peace, leading Dances of Universal Peace and learning from the men about their Healing Garden.
Saturday September 12th - Madison, WI
KID'S DAY FOR PEACE at the Madison Children's Museum. 10:00 am. Children's Global Peace Project at the Children's Museum, Madison, WI. We are leading dances and creating Peace banners to celebrate Kids Day for Peace.
September 13th - 25th - Costa Rica
CGPP team members are traveling to Costa Rica to attend the Global Summit for the Ministries of Peace (9/17- 9/22) and bring Children's Global Peace Project into the schools of Costa Rica. We will be bringing peace banners, and letters of peace. We will keep you posted with pictures and letters home. CGPP members will be attending the Be Peace Foundation course of feeling peace through Heart Math and speaking peace through Non Violent Communication. At the Global Summit for the Ministries of Peace CGPP members will join representatives from over 44 countries where we will explore and talk about how we create "cultures of peace". Saturday September 26th - Madison, WI
EARTH DANCE FOR PEACE. 5:00 pm --to late. Earthdance Madison 2009 is a potent combination of music, dance and technology directed toward positive and humanitarian aims. From 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm --Earthdance in Madison event will offer family-friendly entertainment including: children’s activities with the Madison Children’s Museum, community drum circle, dances of universal peace, and live music. Starting at 9:00 PM, there will be electronic music (see DJ Schedule) spun by local and touring DJs: DJ SE (Madison), DJ Lukewarm (Milwaukee), DJ MoPo (San Francisco), and DJ Nee High (Madison). The Common Wealth Gallery space will be filled with art, video projection, and stretch fabric installations. EARTHDANCE 2009's worldwide theme is Blessing the Children and proceeds from donations will benefit two local non-profits, the Children's Global Peace Project and Junebug Initiative for Creative Action.
