Overview of Horizon Program

Horizons is a programs that serves students identified and gifted and talented in CFISD.

If you are interested in referring your student(s) to be screen for the Horizons program, please make sure you have review the program overview, parent information, and refer to the campus process for screening.

HORIZONS OPEN REFERRAL PERIOD: OCTOBER 1 - NOVEMBER 30, 2019

Referrals:

To refer your student, please stop by the front desk during the Open Referral Period and pick up for Parent Survey and Permission to Test Form. Late forms will NOT be accepted.

Once forms are received, a confirmation email will be sent and your student(s) is then scheduled for their screening in the spring semester.

Results:

Results for all screened Kindergarten results will be sent home on February 25th with the student. Results for 1st-5th grade were due to be sent home on April 30th. If you were not able to pick up your results, results will be sent home with the remaining student items that will be distributed per grade level instructions from Mrs. Brenz.
