Meet Mrs. Harris
Greetings wolfpack! I'm proud to have opened Woodard in August of 2015 and enjoy working with the students, staff members, parents, and community members. I LOVE that I get to work with the students through classroom guidance lessons, small group sessions, and individual counseling. I also collaborate with staff members to provide mentors for students, backpack food for families in need of additional food after school, and referrals as needed to support students.
Social Emotional Lessons
Social-Emotional lessons provide families with an opportunity to teach their student(s) on character education and conflict management. These lessons provide social-emotional learning apply the skills learn in their day to day situations. Topics that are covered include: problem solving, character education, what to do with my anger, and positive mindsets.
Covid-19
During school closures, we have created some social-emotional lessons and videos for our families to enjoy. To get to this page click on the tab at the top of the page. You will also find some useful tools to help your student(s) navigate through these difficult times. I have also included some resources for talking to your child about COVID-19 under the resources tab.
