Symphonic Winds - Upper School (Grades 9-12)


Symphonic Winds is the culmination of many years of music education at CDNIS. Students will play the traditional instrumentation of the Concert Band idiom (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, percussion) working on material that is both diverse and challenging. Students auditioning will have had multiple years of band experience and are committed to the pursuit of higher level music.   


Rehearsals will be Tuesday mornings, 7:15am - 8:45am. There will be a shuttle bus organised from the WCH MTR at 7:05am to get you to school on time. Sectionals will be Wednesday lunchtime, 2:00pm to 2:30pm  organised by your section leaders.


This ensemble will be directed by Mr. Liam O’Toole
