String Orchestra

Upper School String Orchestra - (Grades 6-12)

Students with prior experience playing the violin, viola, cello, upright bass will learn and perform string orchestra pieces together. There may be opportunities for a guitarist, percussionist, wind and brass players to perform with the ensemble for some pieces. 

All students must have their own instrument, know how to tune their own instrument, and have played their instrument for at least 1 full year. Repertoire will be chosen based on the level of the ensemble, but it is estimated that the group will start the year at the intermediate level. 

Rehearsals will be Tuesdays before school in room 613 starting at 7:30am. 

Jessica Keider will be directing this ensemble.
