Mousetrap Cars

• The student will draw the top and side view of the mousetrap car.

• The student will be able make a mousetrap car using the designed drawn.

• The student will measure the distance the mousetrap car traveled.

Built a mousetrap car that will travel the farthest distance possible with the following materials:

1. Balsa wood sticks 1/2 x 1/4 x 36"             2

2. Balsa wood sheet  3" x 1/8 x 36"               1

3. Victor's mousetrap                                       1

4. Cds                                                                 4

5. Axle Bushings                                               4

6. Axels                                                              2

7. Eye hooks                                                     4

Parameters:

• Length:   No longer than 36"

• Width:     Between  2 1/2" and 5"
