Ground Transportation and Robotics

Ground Transportation and Robotics class is a half year class where the students will embark on a learning quest to design and construct vehicles and assess these vehicles by time and distance. Some challenges will include a Mousetrap Car, that will be assessed by the furthest distance, an Electric Car, and culminating the transportation unit with a Co2 Car, that will be both assessed on speed. Students will grasp the uses of simple machines, electric circuits and aerodynamics among other topics.  Students will then construct  a Tetrix Max robot that will compete against other robots in the class in different challenges.
