First Grade

Daily Supplies

1 box of crayons (no larger than 24)

1 pair of child-sized scissors (Fiskars work well)

2 boxes of tissues

1 JUMBO gluestick (no glue pens- they leak)

1 large bottle of white Elmer's glue (no gel glue)

6 sharpened pencils (plain #2 sharpen the best)

1 plain flat eraser

1 two-pocket folder (no center clasp)

1 spiral notebook (single subject)

2 Expo (Wipe-off) broad tip markers (BLACK only)

1 broad tip high-lighter (YELLOW only)

1 clear plastic SHOEBOX- we will not need the lid

(The shoebox can be no higher than 4 inches to fit in the desk)

1 bookbag/backpack (no wheels- this is a safety concern)

1 container of Clorox wipes (if available)

1 set of headphones (not earbuds)

boys - gallon sized ziploc bags girls - sandwich sized ziploc bags

These supplies should be brought in so that your child will be prepared on the first day of school.

Please label all of your child's supplies as well as their coats, hats, gloves, bookbags, etc. with their names so that we can readily match owners with their items.

During the course of the year you will want to check with your child to see if they need to replace any of their supplies. It is amazing how many crayons, pencils, glue sticks and tissue boxes we go through each semester. Thank you for your support and cooperation!
