Making holiday ornaments

These are just a few samples of cards that students have made.

Students work on developing vocational and independent living skills several hours per week. Skills addressed include:

  • Interest and abilities inventories

  • Career exploration

  • Completing job applications

  • Interviews

  • Work behaviors

  • Hands-on experiences in the areas of: Horticulture, Manufacturing, Sales, Custodial Work, and Data Entry. Additional areas are added to meet student needs and interests.

  • Students regularly travel to area stores and places of business within the community.
