A Few Simple Rules: Respect yourself and others. Take pride in doing your own work. Don't fall behind. Be prepared and be safe.
Personal Technology in Class: There will be times when your phone may be used as a tool for calculating and collecting data. There will also be times when phones will be collected. These times include notes, labs, and any other activity where your full attention is required or you are being distracted by your device. Earbuds may be worn only during designated independent work time. It is disrespectful (and may be unsafe) to have them in at any other time.
Ongoing Extra-Credit Test Corrections: Students can earn back a portion of their missed points by defining a pertinent vocabulary term, explaining their error, and explaining how to arrive at the right answer.
Students will use many Google Apps throughout this class. We will utilize Google Drive (sheets, docs, slides) for sharing & collaboration. Assignments and grades will be posted on Google Classroom and School Tool.
