Missouri's Cattlemen Foundation Scholarship
Deadline: October 13, 2025
Applicants must be a current paid member of the Missouri Junior Cattlemen's Association or parent/legal guardian-Missouri Cattlemen's Association. Three letters of recommendation are required as well.
Deadline: October 17, 2025
The Heisman High School Scholarship program extends the Heisman prestige to the nation’s most esteemed high school seniors by celebrating and rewarding outstanding male and female scholar-athletes who understand that the most important victories happen not only on the field, but also in their schools and communities. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Voice of Democracy Scholarship
Deadline: October 31, 2025
The VFW established the Voice of Democracy program (VOD) in 1947 to provide students in grades 9-12 the opportunity to express themselves in regards to democratic ideas and principles. Students must submit a 3-5 minute audio essay on the topic: How Are You Showing Patriotism and Support for Our Country? - The national first-place winner receives a $35,000 scholarship paid directly to the recipient’s American university, college, or vocational/technical school. A complete list of other national scholarships ranges from $1,000-$21,000, and the first-place winner from each VFW Department (state) wins at least a scholarship of $1,000.
MSBA John T. Belcher Scholarship
Deadline: November 12, 2025 (to the Counseling Center by 3:00 pm)
One applicant will be selected by the Cameron R-I School Board to advance to the next level of competition through the Missouri School Board Association. Selection is based on academic achievement, leadership, and financial need. The application can be completed electronically once downloaded.
Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship
Deadline: November 12, 2025
The Elks National Foundation awards 500 four-year scholarships to high school seniors nationwide through its Most Valuable Student Scholarship contest.
Deadline: December 01, 2025
Need-based and merit-based scholarships; Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and Adjusted Gross Household Income must not exceed $100,000.
University of Missouri-Columbia Scholarship Application
Deadline: December 1, 2025
This application is the standard application for all Mizzou scholarships.
AirForce ROTC Scholarship
Deadline: December 12, 2025
ROTC scholarship— could get you up to 100% tuition coverage. Applicants must either be a United States citizen or obtain U.S. citizenship by the last day of the first term of their freshman year, ACT score of 26 or higher, 3.0 gpa or higher and complete the physical fitness assessment.
Navy ROTC Scholarship
Deadline: January 31, 2026 (Final, but there are earlier deadlines)
ROTC scholarship— could get you up to 100% tuition coverage. Applicants must either be a United States citizen, meet the ACT or gpa 3.0 gpa requirement and be physically & medically qualified by the Navy standards

Ed Stegner Natural Resources Scholarship
Deadline: January 31, 2026
Eligible for students studying an area of natural resource management such as: fisheries, forestry, wildlife, parks and recreation, and soil/water conservation.
Deadline: February 2, 2026
Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships available from the Elks National Foundation to children and grandchildren of Elks members. Eligibility requirements are listed on the website.

Missouri students can apply for the ESA Foundation scholarships. To apply, you’ll need to create an account on the ESA website, complete the application by the deadline, and meet the ESA criteria.
Elizabeth Spelman Health Career Scholarship
Deadline: February 4, 2026
The Elizabeth Spelman Health Career Scholarship program was established by Dr. Arch E. Spelman in memory of his mother. Dr. Spelman was instrumental in the development of the hospital in Smithville, formerly known as Spelman Memorial Hospital, now known as St. Luke's North Hospital-Smithville Campus. Twelve scholarships of $2,000 are given each year. Students must be a high school senior, entering college/university in the fall of 2026, with a declared major in a health-related curriculum.
Local Cameron Elks Lodge #2615
Deadline: April 1, 2026
The Local Cameron Elks Lodge #2615 is awarding various scholarships to deserving graduates of area high schools who are pursuing a degree or certificate of higher education, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college, university, or a qualified trade school. Parents are encouraged, but do not need to be current members, for high school seniors to apply.
Northwest Missouri State University Scholarship Applications
This link will take you to the various scholarships offered through NWMSU. They each have different requirements and due dates, but several want you to have an accepted admission by the 3rd Thursday in January.
