Topic 7: Pythagoras

Converse:  a conditional (if-then) statement after the if-part is traded with the then-part.

Silly example:  If I like chocolate, then I'm good at math.  Converse:  If I'm good at math, then I like chocolate.

Hypotenuse:  the longest side of a triangle, typically only used when talking about right triangles.

Leg:  either side of an angle, or any not-particularly-special side of a shape

Theorem: a statement based on logical argument and mathematical properties
