5th Grade Team:

We in 5th grade would like to warmly welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. It will be a year full of fun, learning, and growth for all involved. We set the bar high and know everyone to be capable of achieving wonderful things. Our classrooms are built on the foundations of trust and respect. We firmly believe in the power of listening and being listened to, and that we can always work together to rise above any obstacle. We look forward to a joyful and productive year full of two of our favorite things: teaching and learning!

About Me:

I grew up in a small town in West Texas. I decided to attend college at Colorado State University where I earned an B.S. in Forestry. After college, I was married to my wonderful husband (who is now a teacher math at Valor Christian High School) and settled down in Windsor Colorado. In 2002 we moved to Rifle Colorado on the Western Slope. I started teaching in 2010 and have taught 5th grade for the last eight years. I have one son and my family and I are happy to be in Parker. We enjoy traveling, skiing, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors.
