Built Climate offers advanced data monitoring and energy audit programs that help inform building owners about the operation of their HVAC systems. These programs are designed to monitor critical equipment such as; water chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handling units and make-up air units. Built Climate installs monitoring hardware using the latest wireless technology that allows live data monitoring for a prescribed length of time. This data can also be used by commissioning professionals or consulting engineers during existing building re-commissioning. Built Climate summarizes the data in a report signed by an accredited professional which makes it eligible for funding and government incentives.
Built Climate offers CO GUARD, a cost effective and safe method of monitoring hazardous gases in enclosed parking garages. CO GUARD can control exhaust fans which maintain safe levels of contaminates, resulting in significant electrical savings. In heated garages, the savings are significantly higher. In most cases, the simple payback period is less than 1 year. Built Climate can also offer the required data acquisition program to secure incentives from local electric and natural gas supply companies.
Built Climate offers CondenSave, a packaged control solution that minimizes energy use in water-cooled condenser systems. Typically, these systems include a chiller with a water-cooled condenser for heat rejection, cooling tower fan, and a condenser circulation pump. In most instances, these items are operating with constant speed motors which consume their full-load electrical power all year round. Unlike large, proprietary, and complex building automation systems, this control package is designed to be installed quickly and easily while minimizing cost.
In certain instances, unit heaters are controlled with localized thermostats which are often tampered with, resulting in wasted fan energy and heat. These systems usually have circulation pump that operates all winter long, regardless if there is any call for heat. Built Climate offers a packaged control solution which resolves these issues.
