Denwood Bussing

Denwood Bussing refers to the school bus transportation provided to military families living in Denwood, AB at 3 Canadian Division Support Base, Garrison Wainwright.  Buffalo Trail Public Schools transports students to and from the Wainwright Elementary School, Wainwright High School, Blessed Sacrament School and the Blessed Sacrament Outreach School.  If you require transportation to the Francophone School you will have to contact Conseil Scolaire Centre-Nord at http://www.centrenord.ab.ca/contacts-to.

If you live in the Town of Wainwright and are requesting bussing from the MFRC you may be required to pay the ineligible bussing fee if your residence is not 1.0 km  for grades K-6 or 2.0 km for grades 7-12 from your designated school.  Please fill out the In-Town/MFRC Transportation to Caregiver form, and/or call the Transportation Department at 780-806-2052 or email transportation@btps.ca for assistance.  They will determine if you are required to pay a fee. MFRC Transportation to Caregiver bus service is provided if space permits on the Denwood/Camp busses regardless of eligibility.

All students will be picked up and dropped off at the MFRC.  Please do not send your child to the bus stop without making contact with your bus driver first.  It is parent or guardian responsibility to ensure your child gets safely to and from the bus stop at the MFRC.  Student conduct to, from and at the bus stop is the responsibility of the parent/guardian, therefore, parental assistance is greatly appreciated.
