About Coach Ellsworth

This will be my 7th year teaching at Edmunds, and 14th year teaching (I can't believe how time flies)! I am originally from the Adirondacks (Saranac Lake, New York) and moved to Vermont after living and teaching in San Francisco for six years. I played 4 years of collegiate ice hockey at American International College (Mass.) and grew up playing football, lacrosse, and just about anything that had a ball. I also love traveling, art, music, snowboarding, x-country skiing, biking, fishing, hiking, kiteboarding, skateboarding, surfing, golfing or any sort of outdoor activity alike (whew, yes, I have a lot of passions so please, lets chat if we share some). When not teaching, I enjoy spending all the time I can with my daughters (Hazel and Autumn), wife Sam, and chocolate lab Porter. I look forward to continuing to build relationships with returning students, and beginning new ones with our new group of 6th graders.Â
