JOB DESCRIPTION: Delivery Coordinators deliver food, supplies, furniture and/or other goods from the central-level to units in the BSC each week.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to drive truck: valid driver's license and good driving record.
Ability and willingness to lift 50 lbs. regularly and continuously.
Some knowledge of BSC food service; knowledge of other food distribution systems helpful.
Knowledge of produce and other perishable quality and storage requirements.
Ability to work with others in a team situation.
Ability to count accurately and keep accurate organized records.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Required Scheduling Availability: Delivery Coordinators must be available for two four-hour time blocks, Monday- Friday, 12pm -5 pm.
HOURS/PAY: This is an 8-hour/week position, compensated with a rent credit stipend for 3 hours/week and fulfilling your five-hours/week workshift requirement. Apartment residents will receive an additional rent credit stipend for the five workshift hours, as this job does not replace the workshift requirement in this instance. If for whatever reason this job begins mid-semester, the stipend will be prorated. This position starts in Spring and lasts indefinitely, although you would not work during the summer (as CFS operates only during Fall & Spring Semesters).
