Close to 70 members of our class attended our Zoom on January 5th. It was great to see a lot of new faces! Discussion was mainly focused on our upcoming 50th reunion. 

Another chance to connect with classmates until we are able to gather together for our 50th reunion.

"A SHOT FOR A SHOT": COCKTAILS AND CONVERSATION

The Brown University men's soccer program celebrated its three teams from the 1970s that reached the NCAA Final Four. The 1973, 1975 and 1977 squads were honored during halftime of the October 7th game against Princeton. 

Players from the Class of 1975 were Rich Callahan, Tom Childs, Dusan Culich, Michael Hampden, Tony Higgins, Scott Hunter, Lucio Iida and Barry Whittaker.

Under the direction of legendary coach Cliff Stevenson, Brown reached the NCAA national semifinals three times during the 1970s, boasting one of the most accomplished decades in program history. The teams during that ten-year span (1970-1979) combined for an Ivy record of 46-18-5 and an overall record of 100-47-11.  Brown captured four Ivy League championships during the decade and reached the NCAA Tournament nine times.
