Athletes should arrive at Boylan at 6:30 for the Two way bus that leaves at 6:45. We wait for no one and if you're not on the bus you don't run.

CROSS COUNTRY MEET

The 49th Annual Larry Eddington Invitational Cross Country Meet to be held on the Kaneland High School Campus on Saturday, September 15th, 2018.

Kaneland High School Campus, 47W326 Keslinger Road, Maple Park, Illinois

North of Peterson Stadium / Course Length = 3.0 Miles

~*~* SPECTATORS~*~*

Kaneland High School is committed to the safety of over 1000 runners today.

All spectators must park in the lots of Kaneland High School. Only cars displaying HANDICAPPED PLATES or the HANDICAP TAG will be allowed to park closer to the course, north of the track. All spectators arriving should plan to enter the Kaneland High School Campus through entrances on Keslinger Road.

All entrances on Meredith Road will be blocked for runner safety.

There will be no parking allowed on Meredith Road. Cars left unattended on Meredith Road will be subject to County statutes enforced by the Kane County Sherriff. Please park in the high school lot, and walk toward the water tower.

TIME LINE

    • Girls’ Varsity Division Race @ 9:00 AM

      • Top 10 runners may enter, five score in the Girls’ Varsity Division

    • Boys’ Varsity Division Race @ 9:40 AM

      • Top 10 runners may enter, five score in the Boys’ Varsity Division

    • Girls’ Freshmen/Sophomore Division Race @ 10:20 AM

      • Unlimited F/S entries may run in the Girls’ Freshmen-Sophomore Division

    • Boys’ Freshmen/Sophomore Division Race @ 11:05 AM

      • Unlimited F/S entries may run in the Boys’ Freshmen-Sophomore Division

    • CO-ED Open Division Race @ 11:50 AM

      • Open to all runners that did not previously run in the F/S and Varsity Divisions

    • STARTING TIME

    • Following the varsity girls’ race, all races will start as close to scheduled times as possible.

    • AWARDS

    • Awards will be presented on the grass outside the Kaneland Middle School. Should the weather not cooperate, we have coaches (only) pick up remaining awards in the Coaches Room, along with team awards. The top five teams will receive 10 medals. Individual medals will be awarded to the first 10 runners, overall, in the Boys’ Varsity, Girls’ Varsity, F/S Boys’ and F/S Girls’ races. Ribbons will be awarded to the 11th to 35th place finishers in all 4 races. Ribbons will be awarded to the top 35 runners in the Boys’ and Girls’ Open Division races as well. Team winners will be honored on the podium as soon as the results of the Girls’ Open Run are tabulated. Ribbons will be placed in packets to be picked up by coaches (only) after the award presentations.
