Hello everyone. Welcome!! I am Michelle Riesbeck, the science teacher for MacLeod Clan! I have been working at BEMS for 20 years! I am also a graduate of BEHS.
I recently started coaching the HS Girls Varsity Soccer team after coaching the MS soccer team for 15 years. I also coach the BEMS swim team and run the Ski and Snowboard club!
This will be my 11th year teaching science. I love everything about the outdoors and taking care of our environment.
I have 3 pets. Nugget is our classroom pet. He is a year-old Leopard Gecko! I also have two dogs that I adopted from down south. Bear is my Doberman/Pit mix. He is the sweetest gentlest boy, who might be scared of everything. Bruce is a Shepard/Huskie mix. He has one blue eye and doesn't know how to put his tongue in his mouth!
The loves of my life are my two kids Maddilynn & Matthew! Matthew is a 2nd grader and Maddi is an 8th grader! They are so much fun and love to go on adventures with me. Maddi loves anything to do with sports! She is into softball, soccer, and wrestling. She is a Maine State Champion softball player! Matthew loves anything to do with dirt and sports. He loves his dirtbike and camping. He also loves baseball and wrestling.
