Module 2: Data Management Plans

Learning Objectives

Students will be able to:

• describe the benefits of research data management planning activities

• list several common elements found in a data management plan

• set up an account in the DMPTool to assist in the creation of a data management plan

Revise a Data Management Plan (10 points): Have students download the DataManagementPlanAssignment.pdf and review the included DMP. Students will describe how the provided DMP can be improved. [Rubric available below: DataManagementPlanAssignmentRubric.pdf]
