We look forward to helping you transition to 8th grade. This site contains information to help guide you through the registration process for 7th graders going into 8th grade.

If you have not added My Google classroom. Please do the following:

Go to my google classroom and navigate to Classwork and click on 8th Grade Registration topic.
Start you 2025-26 8th Grade Course Request Form, you can update this at anytime before registration day.
Make sure to:
Choose 2 Electives
Choose at least 2 Alternates (in case your first choice is not available)
Note: We have already added your core classes. Which are:
Math ( Pre-Algebra or Integrated I or Integrated II)
English 8
Earth Science (unless you have taken this in 7th grade)
World Studies 8
Add the correct science class if you're taking advanced classes and did not get the correct class.
6 Year Individualized Graduation Plan - Filling out your 6 year graduation plan can sometimes help you decide on what classes to take next year. This can sound overwhelming at first, open the file, read the instruction and take your time filling it out. This does not need to be completed before Registration Day.
It helps to think about your long term plan.

Review Course Request with Parents
Log in to Google classroom at home and share your 2025-26 8th Grade Course Request Form with your parents/guardians. Make sure you are in agreement on the courses and electives that you've taken.

If you are still unsure which class you would like to take. Please review class elective options and Google Slide from Step 1. Try and narrow your class selection to your top 2 full year choices or 4 semester courses, or a mix of both.

Steps for today:
Counselor will review the registration process and answer questions.
Students will log in to Infinite Campus.
Go to "25-26 Registration" to view your class selections for 8th grade.
You will see your core classes which North preloaded for you. Using The Course Request form you filled out on Step 3, select 2 elective (classes) and at least 2 alternate classes.
Have a counselor check your schedule before logging off.

Schedule requests will be printed and send home for parents to see.

Students Parents/Guardians: The following classes require an application and/or an interview to be completed before enrolling in the courses below AVID, Yearbook, Video Broadcasting, and Leadership.
When choosing any of the above classes that require an application and an interview, make sure you also choose an alternate class in Infinite Campus.
