About the Library
Mission Statement: The mission of the Ripley High School Library Media Center is to assist members of the learning community in becoming effective users of information in both print and electronic formats and to foster the love of reading in all patrons.
Holdings: The Ripley High School Library is fully automated with the Follett Destiny Card Catalog. The library contains over 14,000 volumes of print resources and over 400 eBooks and audiobooks. The library also offers 6 internet accessible desktop computers.
Circulation Policy: Print Media (Books)
Books are checked out for a period of four weeks and may be renewed one time.
Students may check out a total of two books at a time.
There are no longer fines for overdue books.
If a book is destroyed or lost, student will pay the replacement cost of that book.
Circulation Policy: eBooks and Audiobooks
eBooks/Audiobooks are checked out for a period of 21 days.
These books are automatically returned at the end of the 21 day period.
There are no fines or lost/damaged book fees for ebooks/audiobooks.
