Student Renewal of Library Books (New Feature)

posted Oct 22, 2020, 11:39 AM by Jo Phillips   [ updated Nov 2, 2020, 8:19 AM ]

Students now have the ability to RENEW any library books they have out (1 time).

  • This must be done before the book becomes overdue (which gives students an opportunity to avoid overdue fines).
  • Students will also be able to see what resources they have checked out (such as their Macbook) and whether they owe for any overdue books or computer items.

Below are the step-by-step log in and book renewal instructions.   If any students are having trouble logging in following the directions below, contact Mrs. Phillips.

FOR STUDENT ACCESS TO THEIR LIBRARY ACCOUNT:

· Go to Jackson County's Follett Destiny Homepage and choose Ripley High School

· Go to the top right-hand corner and click LOGIN

· The student LOGIN (for sophomores through seniors) should be the same as their CANVAS login (9 digit ID number and CANVAS password).  **If this login doesn't work, try the method for 9th grade students to login (explained below).

· The student LOGIN for 9th graders will be their 9 digit ID number for the username and also the password.

· Click on MY INFO and there they will see lots of info including any books or resources they have checked out.  See example image below.
