01: Ximico, Guatemala
Notes
An important duty for Mort Rabinowitz (Production Designer) was the building of the small South American village where the beginning and end of the mini-series are set.
"The Latin town was shot on the Burbank backlot and the San Fernando Valley Mission,” says Rabinowitz. “We used the interior of the mission church, and I built an adobe-style native hut on stage."
