Recognise those graphics in the images below? Yes, they are almost identical to those used in Salem's Lot.
Title Designer Gene Kraft and Producer Richard Kobritz based the font used in Salem's Lot on the design by Saul Bass for 1961's West Side Story.
Gene has designed just a few over the years as you can see in his IMDb profile.
