Phone offenses do not start over each six weeks and accumulate for the entire school year
Class 1 offenses (minor issues that can occur during class)
If there is an issue with student behavior, I will encourage students to remember our Class Contract and work with the students to be self managing. If the behavior is not corrected I will step in and address the behavior in the following ways:
•1st redirect – Warning
•2nd redirect – Warning that may include a seat change, or other action to change behavior, etc.
•3rd redirect – Student completes a written reflection slip on the behavior and possibly a quick conversation in the hallway. I will be contacting home about behavior and the written reflection slip will be recorded in Skyward
• 3 written reflection will result in an Office Referral; this will reset every six weeks
Class 2 offenses (major issues)
Major offenses such as fighting, bullying, harassment and other things will result in an immediate office referral.
