A scholarship from the Burleson Opportunity Fund offers tuition and fees for up to 16 hrs/semester (Fall/Spring) for one year at Hill College. The number of scholarships awarded each year varies depending on available funds.

Burleson Opportunity Fund Class of 2027 Application

Application Steps:

1) Submit your information through our BOF Application.

2) Complete the Hill College application found at Apply Texas Website.

3) Submit your free application for student financial aid at FAFSA Website.

    Don't forget you and a parent each need your own FSA IDs to digitally sign your FAFSA

4) Always keep your contact information current.

5) Remember to meet all Deadlines in order to be eligible for funds.

Deadlines:

Applications open between December 1 – March 1

Documents due by March 1

Lottery (only if necessary) completed by first week in April

Recipients notified no later than May 5

Orientation in August (Date TBD each year / attendance required)

Recipients must complete Hill College fall registration by summer (date TBD)

Who is Eligible?

The following are eligible to apply:

Fall 2026; Spring 2027 high school graduates of a Burleson ISD school

Fall 2026; Spring 2027 high school graduates who live within the Burleson ISD school zone and/or within in the Burleson city limits

Fall 2026; Spring 2027 Joshua High School graduates who reside within the Burleson city limits
