Creating Theatre is a course that explores the creation and production of theatrical works.
This class focuses on playwriting and directing, both by looking at examples of established works and scripts and by creating our own pieces through research, rehearsal, and discussion. This class will be very project orientated, meaning that most of the learning will come through the work that students put into their written and directed pieces. It is expected that students who take this course have a good understanding of Intro to Theatre concepts and are interested and excited to take an active role in creating new work.
