What happens when a town full of corrupt government officials mistake a young trickster for a secret government inspector? Comedy, of course! Written by Nikolai Gogol in the 1800s and based partly off of a joke he heard, this adaptation by John Anderson still resonates today with its buffoonish characters, slapstick humor, and biting satire- a combination sure to bring tears of laughter to our audiences this spring!
