INSTRUCTIONS: It is best to RESERVE an instrument NOW, so your child has one ready and waiting for them in the fall.
- Review the Rental Brochures below from both music shops that service our schools.
- Decide which Rental Shop you want to rent from.
- Complete that shop's Online Rental Form, by following the instructions below for the shop you chose.
Rental Shops
If you rent from the first two shops below, the instrument and accessories will be delivered to your child's school at the beginning of the year, ready for them to play. Renting from other shops is fine, too but they will not pick-up or deliver exchanges or repairs to your school.

Please reserve your child's instrument online in May - June. You will be charged for the first 3 months of rental, and all ordered accessories, on the day you submit the contract online. However, your contract will begin on the date we deliver the instrument to school in Fall 2018.
- Go to www.classicviolins.com
- Click "STRING RENTALS: Rent Online NOW"
- Select District "IL School District 220"
- Select the School your child will be at NEXT year
- Leave "All Teachers" alone
- Select Size and Instrument (As written on the Parent Night Checklist) (otherside)
- Next to your preference ("Standard Rental" or "Upgraded Rental") click "RENT NOW"
- On the "Accessories and Specials" page all required accessories have been pre-selected for you. If you wish not to order any of the accessories included in the beginner's package, please uncheck them. Or if you wish to add items, please check them.
- Check "Delivery to School" (so it will be delivered to the school in the fall)
- Complete all "Customer Information"
- Complete all "Credit Card Payment Information"
- Check "I Agree to the Terms and Conditions"
- Type your online signature into the box
- Click "Submit"
- You will receive a confirmation email with the instrument delivery date.
- All instruments will be delivered to your child's school in the fall with ID tags and accessories in a plastic bag closed with a zip tie to prevent losing any of the ordered accessories or books. All KUN shoulder rests will be adjusted to fit the respective instrument size and all instruments will be taped and tuned.

Please reserve your child's instrument online in May - June.
- Choose Rental Instrument (Violin, Viola, Cello or Bass)
- Choose Rental Instrument SIZE (As noted on your Parent Night Checklist)
- Check YES for the Music Stand (unless you already having a functioning folding music stand at home)
- Check YES for the Startup Kit (This unique kit contains the required book(s) and accessories for your school - the items listed above under "Purchase with Rental, except Music Stand and Bag)
- Search for and Select your School & Orchestra Teacher
- Leave the Book and Accessories CHECKED
- Click "Rent Instrument"
- Click "Checkout"
- On the right under "Order Summary" choose "Deliver to School for Fall Start" and click ENTER
- Click "PROCEED TO CHECKOUT"
- Complete all: Student Info, Billing, Payment, and Review
- All instruments will be delivered to the school in the fall with ID tags and ordered accessories and books.
