Cello

Cello is lower in sound than violin and viola. The cello is always played in the sitting position. Orchestra parts written for the cello vary from playing lower harmony parts and bass lines to playing soaring melody lines. Cello is a great instrument for students who want to feel the vibration of a bigger instrument as it plays, and who are ready to use more muscle in the way they play. Watch the videos below to see the cello play in different styles!
