About Me

Hi! My name is Mrs. Reuss and I am going to be your fourth grade teacher! This will be my tenth year teaching fourth grade but my fifteenth year teaching at AV-W. I love teaching fourth grade and all the exploring, learning, and adventures we get to have!

I grew up in Boulder Junction and went to North Lakeland Elementary School and Lakeland Union High School. After that, I attended the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. During that time, I studied abroad in Toledo, Spain and obtained my Master’s degree in Elementary Education. Go Gophers!

After finishing college, I moved back to Boulder Junction. My husband Matt and I bought a house and have been making improvements on it ever since. Our latest remodel project was a nursery for our son Zachary, who we welcomed in March 2021. It is so much fun watching Zachary explore his world! We also have a spoiled cat named Bondo and an energetic dog named Mandy.

When I am not teaching or planning awesome things for us to do at school… I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, boating, camping, reading, crafting, and traveling. 

I am looking forward to a very successful year and I know you are too. I have high expectations for you and I will do all that I can to help you reach your personal greatness. I can’t wait to spend the next year learning and growing with you!

I drive a Ford F-150 pickup truck.

I have two brothers and three half sisters.

I am the only one in my family that has red hair. (That was until I passed it on to Zach…)
