✎In your science notebook, find a section to complete the following:

Write the name of the journal entry and today's date on the top of a new page. Write a response to the prompt: 

1. Create a diagram of the Sun-Earth relationship showing each of the season as seen from the Northern Hemisphere. 

2. Then, annotate each of the positions about the quality of the light and label the seasons:

• Where do you find Northern Hemisphere vernal and autumnal equinoxes?

• Where do you find Northern Hemisphere winter and summer solstices? 

• Where do you find longest daylight/shortest daylight in the Northern Hemisphere?

3. Write a statement explaining how the seasons are caused by the Sun-Earth relationship.
