In this course, you can learn how archaeologists collect data in the field, analyze data in the lab, and interpret data into meaningful explanations of behavior. Learners work with real artifact collections from around the world, and apply methods and concepts through hands-on activities in the classroom. Learners also have the opportunity to volunteer for real archaeological digs in Central Texas and elsewhere. For Spring 2023, this course is asynchronous online with opportunities for weekend field experiences.
