Week One
Go to Blackboard and review all Course Materials: Syllabus, Schedule, Reading List, Paper Guidelines and Policies, Paper Assignments, Final Project (optional), Midterm, Start Here, Grammar, MLA, etc.

Week One's Zoom session (Wednesday, May 31, at 5 p.m.) is an orientation of the course and discussion of Week One Assignments. See Zoom folder in the Blackboard menu for the links and codes. All students are required to attend OR watch the recorded meetings.

Week Two

Complete Journal One and the Finding Articles and Academic Honesty/Plagiarism Tutorials by clicking here, and then email me the results (80 percent or higher)
Attend or watch the recording of the Zoom Session for your class Monday and Wednesday at 5 p.m. (see codes and links in the Zoom folder in Blackboard)
If you would like to read an excerpt from one of Romantic or Victorian selections in our Zoom session and/or lead the discussion for the piece, please email me by 3 p.m. on Monday or Wednesday.
Click here to take and submit an additional MLA tutorial and quiz for five EC points. You must follow the directions for submitting results to me (80 percent or higher) and make a notation underneath your Works Cited page.

Week Three

Complete Quiz One and BB1 in the discussion board-- get started by mid-week
Read the Instructions for Paper One (linked in Papers and Outlines in the Course Menu). Submit your outline, with at least one scholarly article, via the portal in the Paper One Folder. Begin drafting your paper once I've approved your outline.

Email me your Paper One Outline or Draft as a DOC by 3 p.m. (Wednesday) if you want me to review it in the Zoom session

EXTRA CREDIT ZOOM WEDNESDAY, July 26 (Oscar Wilde Presentation)
Note: If you turn in Paper Two and Quiz Three EARLY by Thursday, July 27 (at noon), you will earn five EC points. In order to qualify, you will need to have completed ALL other assignments, including BB4 (peer editing), and all quizzes and journals. Don't forget to complete Journal Three after I grade your paper!
