Academic Writing Support

ASU Library

All ASU students have access to academic resources (e.g., e-books, journal articles, videos, dissertations, etc.) through the ASU Library portal. These resources are free to the ASU community.

The ASU Library Guide is intended to support the coursework and research needs of students enrolled in education programs at Arizona State University and to support the research and instructional needs of faculty who work with them. If you have any difficulty or have questions with using the ASU Library website, please directly contact the ASU Library Help Desk for assistance.

APA Style

Courses offered in Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College online degree programs have the expectation that all submitted contributions will be of professional quality. Unless specifically stated, all assignments should conform to the APA Style, including the use of a 12-point font with appropriate grammar, punctuation, and spelling. For more information about APA Style, see the following resources:

ASU Writing Center

The ASU Writing Center provides both online and on-site tutors to help students increase their confidence as writers and improve their writing skills free of charge. When a student schedules a tutoring appointment for writing assistance, the tutor will need to see the assignment details for the paper for which they will be providing assistance.

If you have specific questions, we recommend you contact your assigned instructional design team and they can help you communicate with the ASU Writing Center if necessary.
