Rising Freshman Open House 2/19/26 5:30-7:30 (SWS focus from 7-7:30 pm)
School Within a School (SWS) brings together a diverse, creative, and highly motivated group of students who shape the program through their curiosity, leadership, and collaboration. Students are given meaningful opportunities to lead and volunteer within the SWS community while also remaining deeply engaged in the larger East High School experience through student government, athletics,clubs, JROTC, and the fine arts. Though SWS is a close-knit program, it is globally minded, welcoming East High’s world exchange students into our community each year. As an honors-level program, SWS emphasizes project-based learning, Socratic seminars, and other enriching experiences designed to challenge and inspire motivated learners.
