Application Process:

Any student grades 8-11 are welcome to apply for the SWS Lottery, if they think that SWS is the right program for them!

There are two deadlines, one in March and one in July. The dates change each year so please check back closer to the time for exact dates. The lottery opens in February every year for new applicants.

All applicants to SWS must submit the online lottery application by the deadline, regardless of if you live in the East Zone or not.

After the lottery is run, you will be notified via e-mail if your student has been accepted to SWS, or if they are waitlisted, and what their number is on the waitlist.  Results are released to parents a week after the lottery is run.

SWS Freshman Open House:

Each spring SWS hosts an open house for potential incoming freshman. This year we will hold an open house on February 8, 2024. 

What happens next?

You have been accepted into the lottery, so what now?  The lottery has become such a stream lined process that not much follow up is required from parents. If your student is accepted into the lottery, we will notify their respective middle school or high school, depending on the timing and gather the information.
