Our band apparel fundraiser with the Scarlet & Green is now live and orders are due by September 13! To make the apparel more inclusive to all band students & families (both MS & HS), we've changed the logo so it reads "Auburn Bands" instead of "AHS Band."
Rehearsals will begin at 7:45am during marching band season! You need to arrive early to give yourself enough time to be on the field with your instrument at 7:45am!
This Week: Be prepared to continue to learn Mvt. 2 Drill (marching & playing), review/rehearse Mvt. 1 Drill, and work on being able to play Mvt. 3!

Please be sure to have Standard of Excellence book 1 from 5th Grade as well as purchase book 2 for this year. These can be purchased at Dietze Music in Lincoln or on Amazon (see pictures below).

Instrument testing will continue to take place during our regular band time (2:35-3:15pm) in the Music Room in small groups each day of around 10 students.
The Instrument Rental Night with Dietze Music is Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 6:30-7:30pm in the HS Band Room. Once you and your student have decided on which instrument to play, it's highly encouraged that you complete the instrument rental agreement online https://dietzemusic.com/school-rental/auburn-rentals/ to ensure that there are enough instruments in stock.
