About The Director 

I am excited and honored to serve as Director of Bands at Auburn Public Schools! The 2025-26 school year will be my 22nd year in education. It will also be my 8th year serving as Director of Bands in Auburn. 

Music is my passion and I love teaching and working with students. My best hope as a music educator is for students to learn the virtues of work ethic, character, pride in their work, and helping others so that they have happy, successful, and fulfilling lives regardless of their career path after graduation.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. My wife Sarah is a Science Teacher and the Color Guard Director at Auburn High School and our son Joey is in elementary school at Calvert. We also have three dogs: Archer, Bourbon, and Gunner. We love the outdoors, cooking, traveling, listening to Bruce Springsteen's music, and of course, going to Kansas City Chiefs football games!
