Cast and Crew List

Thank you so so much to everyone who auditioned! We so appreciate your willingness to get up on stage and sing, act, and dance. It takes bravery, talent, and empathy to do what you all did, and we are so proud of every single one of you. We had to make some hard decisions, and know that we did our very best to put each of you in a spot where you can learn, grow, enjoy yourself, and SHINE. Descriptions of all the ensemble roles are down at the bottom of the page!

Crew - We will have interviews for your roles after winter break. Stay tuned.

Ensemble Roles:

Track A: Mourner > Cheerleader (Purple B) > Drill Team > Drill Team in Studio Audience > Drill Team Jump in the Line

Track B: Mourner > Lawyer > Recently Deceased > Deceased Studio Audience > Deceased in Jump in the Line

Track C: Mourner > Movers > Clones > Clones in Studio Audience > Clones in Jump in the Line

Track D: Mourner > Cheerleader (Green B) > Girl Scout > Girl Scout in Jump in Line

Descriptions: 

• Mourner: Mourners are all the people attending Lydia's mom's funeral, in the opening scenes of the show (Prologue: Invisible, and "The Whole Being Dead Thing pt. 1"). 

• Cheerleader: The Cheerleaders come out to help Beetlejuice explain "The Whole Being Dead Thing pt. 2" to Adam and Barbara. Track A cheerleaders will have a Purple "B" on their cheer uniform, and Track D cheerleaders will have a Green "B" on their cheer uniform. 

• Drill Team: The Drill Team is similar to a color guard or dance team at a college or high school. In our show, there is a group of recently deceased zombie drill team members that we meet in the Netherworld in "What I Know Now." They will come up to be part of Beetlejuice's live studio audience and return for the Finale, "Jump in the Line." 

• Lawyers: The lawyers are Maxie's lawyers, who join him for dinner at the Deetz's in "Day-O".  Maxie never travels to a business meeting without lawyers! 

• Recently Deceased: The Recently Deceased are a group of newly dead ghosts, ghouls, and zombies who show up in the Netherworld during "What I Know Now" and who'll come up to be part of Beetlejuice's live studio audience. They will come up to be part of Beetlejuice's live studio audience and return for the Finale, "Jump in the Line."  There are a few featured Recently Deceased, who have a solo line and very specific ways they died. Those are the Dead Jockey (kicked by a horse),  Death by Toaster (stuck a knife in a toaster and was electrocuted), Machete Groom (killed by a machete), Dead Cheerleader (unknown cause of death), and Death by Fireworks (accidentally blew themselves up while setting up too many fireworks). 

• Movers: The movers come to help move the Maitlands out and the Deetz's into their house in "Scene 2". 

• Clones: The Clones come in during Act II, when Beetlejuice summons a bunch of Beetlejuice clones to help do some scaring ("That Beautiful Sound") and are our tappers and tricksters. They'll come back to help Beetlejuice with his game show, and in Jump in the Line. 

• Girl Scouts: Our Girl Scouts are a troupe of, well, Girl Scouts, that come to the door at the top of Act II ("Girl Scout"), and follow their fearless leader, Sky, up to the Deetz's house (being haunted by Beetlejuice). Lydia answers the door, and then Beetlejuice scares them ("That Beautiful Sound"). They'll come back out for the Finale, "Jump in the Line".
