All cast and crew who audition and commit to the spring musical are part of the musical! We are a "no-cut" show! We understand that you have other things going on in your life, but make sure you are available during most rehearsal times.
Ensemble roles are called about three times a week, while lead roles are called most days. All cast and crew (full company) are called every day after Spring Break.
Please note that we allow no more than three absences unless there is an emergency. Additionally, you are expected to prioritize the musical and attend all rehearsals following Spring Break.
General Availability:
January–February: After-school rehearsals end by 5:30 or 6 PM. Potential morning vocal or dance rehearsals from 7:50–9:00 AM.
March: Rehearsals may extend until 6:30 or 7:00 PM. Potential morning vocal or dance rehearsals from 7:50–9:00 AM.
After Spring Break: All rehearsals after spring break are mandatory for all cast and crew, and will run daily until 6:30 or 7:00 PM. Potential morning vocal or dance rehearsals from 7:50–9:00 AM.
Rehearsal Calendar:
Rehearsal schedules will be added to the Google Calendar two weeks in advance.
Please add the calendar to your personal and/or school Google Calendar and check it regularly for updates.
It's important to prioritize our rehearsal time because every person in the cast or crew is part of a team. When someone misses rehearsal, it slows things down and makes it harder for everyone to learn their parts. Just like in sports, being at practice helps the whole team succeed. We only have a short time to get ready, so being at rehearsal means the show will be smoother, stronger, and more fun for everyone—on stage and in the audience!
