CREW POSITION DESCRIPTIONS

CREW POSITIONS

_____STAGE MANAGER—manage ALL aspects of production (onstage & backstage)—Must be highly organized, detail-oriented &

                                              responsible. Lots of multi-tasking. [must attend ALL performances]

_____PROPS LEAD—in charge of all props that appear on stage.  Must be highly organized & responsible. (1-2 people)

                                               [must attend ALL performances]

____COSTUME/MAKEUP LEAD —in charge of costumes and makeup. Must be organized & responsible. Will require some set

                           up/clean up during run of show. Basic sewing skills a plus (but not a must).  (1-2 people) [must attend ALL performances]

____SET—paint, build & help create set pieces & props that appear on stage.  (8-10 people) 

TECH POSITIONS

_____LIGHTBOARD—operator is responsible for lighting the full stage, following light cues.  Attention to detail is a MUST!  (2 people) 

                                      [must attend ALL performances]

_____SOUNDBOARD—operator sets up all sound equipment, is responsible for sound checks, pre-show music, microphones & sound

                                          cues during the show (2 people) [must attend ALL performances] 

_____VIDEOGRAPHER/VIDEO EDITOR--Short featurettes about the production during rehearsal period, the LMS Theatre

                                           program and the students who are involved in it! Video & editing experience a plus but not necessary
