Membership in the Park Center Senior High National Honor Society (NHS) is based on a student’s fulfillment of four requirements – scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Members of the junior class who meet all four requirements as demonstrated by their completed application, and accepted by the Faculty Council, will be admitted to the National Honor Society for their senior year. Application does not guarantee acceptance.
In the spring of each year, current juniors meeting the scholarship requirement will receive an invitation to apply for membership in the PCSH NHS. Applications will be due in April, with an induction ceremony in May.
The Faculty Council will evaluate accomplishments in scholarship, leadership, service, and character for each eligible candidate. The final selection of students admitted to the Park Center Senior High chapter of the National Honor Society is the responsibility of the Faculty Council.
All National Honor Society members are expected to maintain the membership requirements of the National Honor Society, including GPA, and to take part in NHS service projects as stated in the PCSH NHS Bylaws. The Faculty Council may dismiss any member failing to fulfill these obligations.
