IHSMTA
IHSSA (Iowa High School Speech Association)
The Awards:
Drama:
While not every drama production is eligible for an award, our musical productions are adjudicated as a part of the Iowa High School Musical Theatre Awards program centered out of the Des Moines Performing Arts Center. We joined this program starting with the 2018-2019 school year.
Speech:
The highest honor that a student individually or within group can achieve is to be nominated for All-State. After having competed at the state level, students are then judged and can be nominated for either performing or non-performing achievements at All-State.
A special congratulations to the students who have outstanding achievements within the drama and speech realms!
