Formerly known as simply the AHS Drama and Speech clubs, we have combined our efforts into one group dedicated to becoming better, more confident performers.

We strive to combine our efforts as coaches in order to help our students achieve greatness within their performances. By collaborating together and using a variety of resources, we can ensure that our productions are that much better!

Ms. Dani Helmich
Ms. Dani Helmich
Ms. Helmich has been teaching at Anamosa High School for 10 years. She took over the drama club during her first year and took over as speech coach for the 2019-2020 school year. Although she was never a member of a speech team, she has a variety of experience in theatres including her own high school of Bettendorf High School, the University of Iowa theatre, and various community theatres in the Quad Cities Area and In the Cedar Rapids - Marion areas. She has been able to explore theatre through acting, directing, and back stage work.
