GRAND COUNCILLOR’S MESSAGE – Fall 2025
Dear Ontario Region and Western New York Members of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC,
Dear Friends,
Welcome to the second edition of the Ontario Regional Newsletter for ARC 3378! I would like to remind you that whether or not you are able to attend an Affiliated Body (AB), you are a valued member of AMORC in the Ontario region.
By the time you read this, the ABs in this region will have hosted mystical days around their particular theme. The synchronicity of the themes of each Affiliated Body in the Ontario Region never ceases to amaze me – Sublime Unbecoming for Hamilton Pronaos, Setting Intentions for Trillium Pronaos, The Opus Magnum (The Great Work) for Cosmos Pronaos and Amor Pax Lux Vitae (Love, Peace, Light, Life) for Toronto Lodge.
On this site, Rosicrucians in Ontario, you can find both public and members-only events. Each group in Ontario has their own page. You may contact any one of these Affiliated Bodies by sending a message to ontario@amorc.rosicrucian.org and the information will then be forwarded to the relevant AB.
For those of you who may also happen to be members of the Traditional Martinist Order, you may wish to follow our Toronto Heptad postings located on the community site, www.martinistcommunity.org
I would like to thank the officers and committee members of each of our Affiliated Bodies for the service they render to their particular AB and to our Order in general. These officers are the ones who ensure that our rituals are performed with dignity. It is these officers who plan special events for us. It is our goal to present impactful rituals and thus enhance the mystical experience for each of us.
With my warmest wishes for Peace Profound,
Sincerely and fraternally,
Helen Miller,
Grand Councillor (Ontario and Western Canada Region)

Seasonal Reflections & Lodge Focus
Greetings to all!
May the last few months have served you well in health and spiritual progress, as they have in my case. Serving our Affiliated Body has given me a different perspective as a Rosicrucian student vis-à-vis the responsibilities of a Lodge Master. The remainder of my tenure will pass quickly – just as these last six months flashed by – so quickly that an after effect will linger in my mind for a long time. Our focus remains clear: to adhere to Grand Lodge guidelines, maintain our buildings, and ensure that our members – especially new members – feel welcome when visiting us for mystical convocations, initiations, or other events.
As we move into a quieter time of the year – reduced light and cooler temperatures – we can seize the opportunity to reflect, deepen our studies, and catch up on our reading, which for us Rosicrucian students is an ever-growing list. Some will look forward to the holidays, perhaps travelling to warmer climes to recharge; for others, this season can bring feelings of loneliness or sadness. Let us rejoice that we can always come to our nearest Rosicrucian Affiliated Body and share in the good vibrations set forth by our practice. Adding your name to the Council of Solace will help further.
In L.L.L.,
Jaime Sánchez
Lodge Master

TRILLIUM PRONAOS (Ottawa)
Theme: Setting our Intentions
Master’s Message
Although extremely important to set our intentions daily, hourly, or for a specific request, it is never enough to do only that. We must make every effort to achieve whatever we have set as an intention. When we have a specific request for the Divine, it is important to express it as one request, clearly, to visualize the outcome with ourselves in it, then send it to the Cosmic, letting it go. Our request may not be manifested as we intended it since the Cosmic will respond with the best outcome. In these troubled times, we have daily opportunities to send requests for healing, peace, understanding, and respect into our world, intentions for the strength of our egregore and Peace Profound for all.
Light, Life, and Love,
Susan

HAMILTON PRONAOS
Theme: Sublime Unbecoming
Message from the Master
Dear Fratres and Sorores,
As we draw closer to the winter solstice – that long, dark night leading to the renewal of the light – we might find time to reflect upon the theme that has guided our studies and meditations – the theme of Sublime Unbecoming. Throughout the year, our teleconferences and in-person events have invited us to explore this idea as a rhythm of continual dissolution and renewal through which the inner Light refines itself.
In our discussions, we have examined the relationships between becoming and unbecoming as both a descent from and a return to Source, and as a spiritual transformation through the surrender of all that obscures the Light within. Together, we have contemplated how refinement occurs not only through the acquisition of experience and understanding, but through the process of shedding the mundane to reveal the extraordinary veiled in the ordinary.
Our conversations have been illuminated by the thoughtful wisdom and sincerity that each of our participants has contributed to our discussions. Your insights and ponderings have transformed our teleconferences into quests for the ultimate truth that really is the purpose of our earthly experience. I extend my deepest gratitude to all who have participated and supported these meetings, and to the officers of our Pronaos whose selfless service helps sustain its spiritual vitality throughout the year.
As we move through the cycles of life, let us remember that the path of Sublime Unbecoming is one of dissolving what is false to reveal what is real.
May we ever dwell in the Light of Eternal Wisdom.
Peace Profound!
Frater Braden Speers
Master, Hamilton Pronaos

Cosmos Pronaos (London, ON)
Theme: The Great Work
Master’s Message
All Rosicrucians are engaged in the Great Work, also referred to as the Opus Magnum. This mysterious phrase often appears in our mystical studies. As such, it refers to Transformational Alchemy, a process that consists of working on our outer selves but also consists of going within and discovering our Divine Consciousness.
This journey is both a deeply personal one yet also a collective one as we strive to better ourselves, to understand others, and to be of greater service in the world. Our spiritual progress shows itself in how we govern ourselves and respond to others daily. How we talk about ourselves and our experiences—the words we choose; how well we listen; how well we seek guidance from within. We are all “works in progress,” and as mystics, we are all engaged in “the Great Work” of self-transformation and illumination. As a collective, we seek to create a better world of greater harmony, unity, and peace.
Meetings:
In-person meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month:
Discussion period and workshop, open to the public, begins at 1pm.
Convocation (members-only) begins at 2pm sharp. AMORC members, please bring your up-to-date credentials.
Refreshment period after Convocation (about 3:00 pm), open to the public, concludes at 4pm.
